Our Story

A Decade of Adapting

From a struggling marketing company with one client to a vendor-neutral technology advisory firm serving IT leaders nationwide. This is how Catch was built.

2015

Catch Solutions LLC

Started as a scrappy marketing company trying to land social media clients. Our first and only client was Kyle's dad's landscaping business. We were figuring it out, one day at a time.

2016

The AT&T Pivot

After leaving AT&T, we signed up for their Solution Provider program and exclusively resold AT&T services alongside their accounts team. It gave us revenue, credibility, and a real foundation to build on.

2017

AT&T Rookie of the Year

Recognized by AT&T as the Rookie of the Year for mobility gross activations. Proof that hustle and deep product knowledge could compete with firms ten times our size.

2018

Breaking Free

Clients started asking for more. They did not want to be locked in by any single vendor. We partnered with Intelisys, going from just AT&T to 250+ providers overnight. Then we added Avant Communications, bringing cloud, colocation, and data center into the conversation. UCaaS took off. We migrated hundreds of clients off-prem onto RingCentral, 8x8, Vonage, Zoom, and Dialpad. Also ditched the old catchsp.com domain (it looked like 'catchup') and purchased catchcloud.com.

2020

The CX Chapter

Attempted a merger with a company focused on Customer Experience architecture. We learned a ton and helped a lot of clients, including Omni Hotels. But ultimately the paths diverged, and Kyle parted ways to bring Catch back.

2021

Loss and Resolve

Kyle lost his father to COVID. The man who inspired the original company. This loss cemented one thing: the name Catch would never change. It carried too much meaning to let go.

2022

Catch Cloud Revived

Brought back the Catch Cloud brand to rebuild. But 'cloud' had become a meaningless word. Everything was cloud, which meant nothing was really cloud. The name no longer fit who we were becoming.

2023

The Triangle is Born

Going through a brand identity crisis, we turned to AI to help us find clarity. We landed on the triangle. The strongest shape. The most adaptable shape. Triangle for change, green for growth. Catch Advisors was born. The mission became clear: help IT leaders make changes faster so they can grow smarter.

2024

Tampa Bound

Relocated to Tampa, Florida. Cybersecurity frameworks, AI strategy, nine solution areas, 600+ technology partners. Launched self-service tools like the Smart Stack Assessment and Internet Quick Quote. No longer just telecom. A true technology advisory firm built in the sunshine state.

2025

Catch Advisors, Inc.

Catch Advisors, Inc. was officially incorporated as a Florida company. Built the platform, the partnerships, and the team to deliver vendor-neutral, expert-level IT strategy to organizations of every size. A decade of adapting, now with real roots.

2026

The Next Chapter

A decade of adapting. Still driven by the same belief: technology decisions should be driven by what your business actually needs, not by whoever has the best sales team. We are just getting started.

Kyle Burt

20 years in IT and telecom. Former AT&T Diamond Club elite. Built and exited a customer experience business. Spent two years deep in cybersecurity training, building frameworks with Sounil Yu's Cyber Defense Matrix. Tested and leveraged every major AI model on the planet.
